A Swindon bus company has issued a warning to shoppers ahead of the Black Friday rush.
Swindon's Bus Company is urging people to leave their cars at home and travel by bus instead, to avoid the expected congestion in and around the town centre.
Head of communications Nikki Honer, said: "Black Friday gives people the perfect opportunity to start their Christmas shopping, and it is always an incredibly busy day for retailers.
"It’s no secret that Swindon is heavily congested across town during busy times, and parking can be difficult to come by."

She added: "We’re expecting even more traffic on Black Friday.
"With just one fully loaded double decker bus having the potential to remove up to 75 cars from our roads, we’re keen to welcome more people on-board as they search for bargains."
She said: "This is the perfect time to sit back and let our drivers do all the work.
"Our services run to-and-from the town centre regularly throughout the day - so it doesn’t matter how long people choose to spend browsing around the shops."
Ms Honer also pointed out that the £2 fare cap for any single journey, part of the Government’s Help for Households initiative, is still in place.
