An award-winning Swindon artist has designed a new trophy for a global awards ceremony.
Anna Mazzotta was commissioned by the Association for International Broadcasting (AIB) to create the new trophy for its awards.
The artist, who was born in Swindon, worked with wood carver Sebastian Burchart to create the prototype of the trophy, which was then manufactured by Amalgam Modelmaking.
Ms Mazzotta said: "I was truly impressed with Amalgam’s efficiency and superb quality of finish.
"They’ve been a pleasure to work with and the final result is a credit to their excellence in the field of 3-D design and manufacture.
"We’ll certainly be continuing this commercial relationship into the future."

At the awards ceremony Ms Mazzotta presented her commissioned drawing, Around the World in 80 Years, to Sir Michael Palin.
Simon Spanswick, chief executive officer of the AIB, said: "We commissioned her to design the new award to mark the AIBs 20th anniversary because of her impressive reputation and international status as a figurative artist.
"Anna’s collaboration with Amalgam led to a truly winning trophy, which will be with us for many years to come."
The AIB Awards celebrates excellence in journalism and factual productions.
