Warminster Town Council has hosted two drop-in sessions for residents interested in becoming town councillors.
The events, held at the Civic Centre, allowed attendees to chat with current councillors and senior staff, obtain information, and ask questions about the role.
All 14 seats on the town council will be up for re-election in May of next year.
The informal sessions were designed to encourage people to stand for election.
Further events are planned, including a similar session in February 2025, and a stall at the Spring Market on Sunday, March 23.

Councillors also plan to set up a stall in the town centre and use display boards at various locations, such as Warminster Library.
The council is keen to stress that the role is open to almost everyone who lives or works in Warminster and is over the age of 18.
People do not have to attend an event to find out more, they can book a one-to-one meeting which will cover the same themes.
People wanting to know more about becoming a town councillor should contact Warminster Town Council on 01985 214847 or email admin@warminster-tc.gov.uk.
