A Ukrainian charity fashion show is set to raise funds for frontline paramedics.

'Spirit of Resistance' will take place at Christ Church in Old Town on Saturday (October 19), at 5pm.

The event, hosted by Swindon Welcomes Ukraine, will combine cultural and fashion displays, showcasing Ukrainian heritage, with the aim of raising funds for volunteer medics working in the war-torn country.

Centred around a Vyshyvanka fashion show, traditional embroidered garments will be presented as symbols of cultural identity and resilience.

The evening will also include theatrical storytelling, aimed at conveying narratives of survival and strength, as well as an auction of original artworks by Ukrainian artists.

All proceeds from the auction will go directly to Hospitallers and the First Voluntary Mobile Hospital (PDMSH)—volunteer medical teams operating on the frontlines.

An array of authentic Ukrainian food and drink will be available during the event's interval, with all donations contributing to the cause.

Tickets for the evening are available for a suggested donation of £10, with every pound raised going towards providing emergency medical care in Ukraine.

Doors open at 4.30pm.
