Care home residents in Chippenham marked World Mental Health Day by taking part in a range of activities to boost their wellbeing.
Staff and residents at Cepen Lodge took part in various activities to promote good mental health.
World Mental Health Day, which took place on Thursday, October 10, aims to encourage discussions about mental health.
This year's theme was 'It is time to prioritise mental health in the workplace'.
At Cepen Lodge, staff and residents shared positive messages, discussed their feelings, shared challenges, and checked in with each other.
They also talked about mindfulness and the importance of being positive.
Senior general manager Jade Hodge said: "Our team and residents have had a great day, it is so important to talk about our feelings and allow ourselves some time for self-care.
"Everyone really enjoyed sharing stories and positivity, it was really interesting to share different ways to help us switch off and recharge from time to time."
The home, which provides residential, respite, and dementia care, offers a life enrichment programme aimed at keeping residents active, and provides a daily choice of physical, mental, and spiritual activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities.
