An indie pop band from Swindon have announced the release of their new single ahead of a performance in the town.
Talk In Code will release their new track, Harder to Breathe, on Friday, October 4.
The band said the song "harnesses" their "objectives of creating timeless pop with dynamic 80s synth and guitar combos".
Frontman Chris Stevens added: "We want to evoke the feelings you have when you meet people that have a huge impact on your life; being overwhelmed, lust, falling in love.
"The song addresses if it is simply instinctual to gamble with matters of the heart."
Ahead of the release, the band will be performing at The Victoria, in Swindon, on Thursday, October 3.
This will be followed by a gig at the Oakford Social Club in Reading on October 19.
These performances come off the back of a busy summer for the band, which saw them feature at Minety Music Festival, Home Farm Fest, Sheb Fest, Phoenix, Aston Clinton Beer Festival, Box Rocks and The Fulltone Festival.
Talk In Code have been supported by BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio, and their music has been streamed more than 500,000 times.
