A performing arts school has moved to a Swindon secondary school and expanded its age range.
On Saturday, September 7, Thomford Academy relocated to Dorcan Academy and widened its age range from four to 18.
After trying out the classes, students showcased their work to their parents on Dorcan Academy's new stage, which was built at the start of the month.
Principals Dee Thompson and Nicki Rochford said: "It's all about building the children's confidence while having fun, then we take their confidence and their enjoyment and create"We can't wait to perform at the Cheltenham Playhouse next year."
Ms Thompson, who is a playwright, will be writing pieces for the students so they can perform new musicals and plays written just for them.
The academy also offers a specialist performing arts class for four and five-year-olds called Thomford Tinies.
The move comes after Thomford Academy relaunched as a performing arts school in April.
Since September 2023, there had been a small academy at the STEAM Museum led by Ms Rochford, who also teaches at a secondary school in Abingdon.
After becoming principal of the school, she was joined by a team of people to support her.
