One of the main high street banks in Trowbridge has closed for three weeks for an ‘essential’ maintenance upgrade programme.

The HSBC Bank in Fore Street has temporarily closed from Tuesday, September 27 to Friday, October 4.

A notice posted on the bank’s windows says: “See you soon. We’re closing for a little while for essential maintenance.

The bank is directing customers to their nearest HSBC UK branch at 45 Market Place, Devizes.

Customers can also access their bank accounts by HSBC’s website, mobile banking app, or by telephone banking.

Some HSBC services can also be accessed through the Post Office branch within the nearby WH Smith store at 43-44 Fore Street, Trowbridge.
