A 'bar and eatery' is set to open soon in Highworth.
Changes to the door of the former wine bar on the High Street tipped members of the public off that something new might be coming to the area.
The door has been decorated with a glass sign that says "Tap & Tiffin Bar & Eatery".
Not much is yet known about this new addition, but it has caused speculation online about what exactly it will entail.
However, some clues can be found via what appears to be a placeholder website for the new venture.
The Google search preview for the website link says the following: "Welcome to Tap and Tiffin, where vibrant flavours meet home-cooked comfort. Inspired by the diverse cuisines of Bangladesh and Southern India."
The link itself leads only to a Tap & Tiffin logo and the businesses' address in The Basement, 10 High Street, and the words "Opening 02.09.2024."
The Adver understands that this is a venture from the Miah family, who have been feeding people in the local area for over 30 years.
It is believed it will be a bar with Indian-style tapas available as well.
The entrance to the venue can be found just to the right of the Kebria takeaway.
