The site of the award-winning Tierra and Mar restaurant in Cirencester has finally been taken over by a new foodie concept that will open in January 2024.
The cuisine and style have not been revealed yet but it will be a boost to the town's economy, providing jobs as well as another venue for the town’s hospitality industry.
Tierra and Mar closed in July of this year despite many accolades and the closure was the choice of the chef, proprietor, Brett Russell and his wife, front of house manager, Sylvia.
A spokesman for the new business said: “We hope to provide something different for the people of Cirencester and the surrounding area.
"It will be something very different and we hope that you will embrace it.”
Asked about the restaurant theme, the new proprietors declined to confirm, saying only: “you will want to try it, we will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.”
