THE roadworks in Wroughton by contractor Conlon Ltd have continued to progress on schedule.
Storm and foul water drainage has been moved away from the Bellway site near Three Tuns Roundabout to connections with the existing roads with help from a specialist company who used an augur bore for the storm water pipes and a directional drill for the foul water pipes.
This work is currently on schedule with no delays. Conlon would like to thank people living in the area for their continued patience and cooperation as work continues.
A Swindon Borough Council spokesman said: "Conlon, Instalcom and their partners have a legal right to undertake these works but we understand the inconvenience to local residents and we thank them for their patience.
"Despite the council not conducting this work, we have been working with the contractors and developers to provide regular updates as well as alternative travel routes and help where needed."
