WE asked you to share the best snaps of Swindon - and you did not disappoint!

Stunning sunsets, vast vistas and other fantastic photography filled our Facebook page. We've picked our a few of our favourites for this gallery.

The borough's parks proved to be popular spots for snappers as these much-loved oases of green space among Swindon's urban sprawl can offer all sorts of natural visual spectacle.

As for times of day, amateur and professional photographers alike often enjoyed going out and about at sunset to capture the colours cast over nearby buildings, lakes and fields.

Whether it's a timelapse or still shot, or taken by a drone, a pricey bit of kit or a cameraphone, there are plenty of ways to show off Swindon's splendour.
