An 18-year-old who lives in Bath has been issued with a Criminal Behaviour Order which prohibits him from entering Chippenham.
The order was sought by the local policing team due to ‘prolific offending in the town.’ In a hearing today (03/03), Lewis Hobbs was issued with the order by Salisbury Magistrate’s Court, prohibiting him from entering Chippenham and having contact with two young people. Sergeant Gavin Brewster, from the neighbourhood team, welcomed the decision by the court.
He said: “This Criminal Behaviour Order has been granted thanks to the hard work and persistence of the local policing team, and we believe it will help to reduce crime and disorder in the town.
“We are clear that we will not tolerate anti-social behaviour or crime, and that we will use all the tools at our disposal to keep our town and the surrounding areas safe.
“If anyone is aware of Hobbs breaching this Community Behaviour Order then we would urge them to contact us so we can take action.”
