A care assistant at The Wingfield care home in Trowbridge has received a long service award in celebration of working at Barchester Healthcare for 15 years.
Anette Edwards-Burke, now a senior care assistant, started at Barchester in September 2006 and has worked with the home's 87 residents and their relatives to ensure that their needs have been met over the years.
Jane McFarlane, employee services director at Barchester, said: “I’m always pleased to hear stories about the long service of Barchester staff and am delighted Anette Edwards-Burke has achieved this milestone.
"It is dedication like this that ensures our residents are provided with a happy place to live.”
Pam Arnsmeyer, general manager of The Wingfield, said: “We’re delighted to be celebrating 15 years of loyal service with Anette. She has demonstrated her dedication and loyalty to this home and its residents year after year.
"I’m looking forward to many more years of working with Anette.”
The Wingfield in Wingfield Road, Trowbridge, is one of several Barchester care homes in the area.
Barchester Healthcare also has care homes at Henford House in Warminster, and at Wilton, Weyhill and two in Salisbury, employing hundreds of staff.
