SWINDON: The return of Swindon's half marathon will cause road closures around the town to allow the crowds of runners to complete their 13.1-mile route.

The closures will last from 8am to 2pm on Sunday September 19. Closures on major roads will be signposted along with diversions.

All the affected roads will be reopened as soon as it's safe to do so once the runners have passed through each road.

Access for residents and businesses will be available but they may be asked to wait until it is safe to proceed.
