A TROWBRIDGE teenager was due to appear in Salisbury law court today by a live link from an Oxfordshire prison charged with five motoring offences.
Ibrahim El-Khalil Chafik, 19, is charged with failing to stop his blue VW Golf for a police officer on an unclassified country lane between Edington and Steeple Ashton on December 20 last year.
He is also charged with driving the vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit; driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence; driving without third party insurance; driving without due care and attention.
All the charges relate to the same date. It is not yet known whether he intends to plead guilty or not guilty.
