JOFFE Vanetta Linda We are sad to announce the death of our mother, Vanetta, in Bristol Royal Infirmary on 6th November 2023. Formerly of Liddington and wife of Joel Joffe. We are very grateful to the hospital staff who gave her outstanding care. She will be greatly missed by her children, grandchildren and many good friends.Tributes

A thoroughly nice person. I gave her a lift back from Bath once, and when I stopped for a few reflective minutes at the RAF memorial at Yatesbury, her reaction was perfectly right. It's a thing not easily explained or defined, but in French "sympa" says it all.

Thinking of all Vanetta's family at this sad time. Vanetta was a lovely
Lady in the true sense of the word. She was a very talented artist and to visit her and explore her home and garden at Liddington was a real treat even coming across the Elephant which she had made for Joel. She was one of our little group of Nordic Walkers in Swindon.
