HAKIN OBE Gp Capt Les Of Swindon, passed away peacefully on 26th December 2022 aged 80 years. Much loved husband of Brenda, loving dad to Lisa and Jason, father in law to Fran and gramps to Jessica and Ella. Funeral to be held at North Wiltshire Crematorium on Thursday 19th January 2023 at 1pm. Family flowers only, donations would be appreciated to benefit Parkinson's UK c/o Claridge Funeral Service, The Parade Mews, Marlborough. Wiltshire. SN8 1NE. Telephone 01672 511836.

Brenda - How sorry we were to learn the news of Les's recent death. Our sincere condolences to you and your family. Looking back to my four years in the 1990s working in Policy Division in Kolsaas, Norway serving under Les's superb leadership was indeed a pleasure. Jan and I both have happy memories of those times. Our thoughts are with you at this sad time. Lothar and Jan Klein.
