WAINWRIGHT David Ex-headmaster of Covingham Park Junior School. Co-founder of Stage Struck and devoted husband to the late Vera passed away suddenly at home on the 19th of November, aged 93. David was a very much loved and adored friend to many, and he will be greatly missed. A service to celebrate David's life will be held at Kingsdown Crematorium on Wednesday 14th December at 10 am. At David's request, any donations in his memory can be made on the day to Prospect Hospice Enquiries to Co-operative Funeralcare Tel: 01793 534759.

My sincere condolences to his family ' Mr Wainwright ' was a legend to the children he taught , and I was proud to have been taught by him firstly at Mountford manor junior school before he moved to covingham park junior school where I followed about 3 months later , he was a great mentor to all he taught and had a wicked sense of humour. Such a sad loss to the community 😢 David Bott
