DYMOND Geoffrey Curtis It is with great sadness we announce that Geoff, 70 years young, passed away peacefully at home on 5th February 2021 having had the last of his nine lives. Geoff was born in Swindon, the youngest child of A.W. John Dymond, a GWR engineer and erstwhile Mayor of Swindon, and his wife Eileen. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, Geoff was known for his sense of fun and in his younger years enjoyed many adventures with good friend Tim O'Rourke. Having studied at Imperial College Geoff embarked on a career in brewing when a job interview promised free beer. He travelled the world as Master Brewer, with extended stays in Denmark and Sweden that welcomed the arrival of sons Sand Thor-Michand daughters SiobhClaire and Denise. Geoff settled in Belgium in the mid 1990s, and enjoyed the last 17 years married to Peggy, with whom he shared a love of The Beatles. Geoff is survived by his wife, children, 12 grandchildren, 3 step-children and brother Lesley, and will be fondly remembered as a generous man with a big beard and even bigger heart. Requiescat in pace.
