This is Wiltshire Tourism

WELCOME to Wiltshire, the county that seems in parts a million miles from the hustle and bustle of modern life; where rolling countryside stretches as far as the eye can see and church spires signal sleepy distant communities.

The county is home to some of the most beautiful villages in England. It is also a mysterious place of prehistoric stone sites, strange crop circles and magnificent chalk horses.

For the active there are endless options, from walking ancient ridgeways and river meadows to biking the canal towpaths. The less energetic can choose to cruise the Kennet and Avon Canal and stop off along route to visit towns and country inns stepped in history.

This is Wiltshire Tourism will help you plan your break in this beautiful county and around the South West of England, providing listings, reviews, information and a guide to sights to see in and around Wiltshire towns and villages.

The website is constantly being updated with the latest news and features concerning tourism in the county, while our series of village features will give you an insight into the life of Wiltshire's smallest communities.

You'll also find Weird Wiltshire.co.uk, our site dedicated to everything mysterious and unexplained in the county. It includes Stonehenge, Avebury, UFOs, White Horses, Silbury Hill and crop circles.
