SEVERAL Salisbury sides are in action this weekend, with a full round of fixtures taking place, weather permitting. 

Chesham United vs Salisbury FC - Southern League Premier South

Salisbury go up against Chesham United this weekend, who were crowned champions of the Southern League Premier South over Easter, their current 87 point total unable to be caught.

After getting a tough four points over the Easter games, including a wild 3-3 draw against Swindon Supermarine, Salisbury sit in third with 70 points, a win against Chesham would secure them a spot in the playoffs.

The Whites beat 3-1 Chesham at the Ray Mac in March, but could not prevent the Generals from winning the league. 

Bemerton Heath Harlequins FC vs Westbury United - Southern Football League Division One South

Bemerton Heath host potential relegation candidates Westbury United this weekend, the Harlequins have lost their last three games, only scoring twice.

They currently sit in 12th and are dark horses for a playoff spot with only four points separating 12th and 5th place.

Westbury on the other hand could be facing relegation, only one spot above safety but have a current five point cushion and two games in hand, however a third consecutive loss against Bemerton Heath could be disastrous for the teams confidence going onwards.

Cowes Sports FC vs Laverstock & Ford FC- Wessex League Premier Division

Laverstock and Ford will travel to 9th place Cowes Sports FC, The Yachtsmen have been leaking goals recently conceding 10 goals in the three games since their last match against Laverstock, which they won 4-0.

Laverstock & Ford have been on fire since that loss however winning 3-0 and 4-0 against Hythe & Dibben and Andover New Street, leaving them in 7th place.

Despite the loss Laverstock & Ford will be confident on the ferry ride over.

Downton FC vs Fawley AFC- Wessex League Div One

Downton FC will host midtable Fawley AFC this week, the home team currently sit second in the table seven points behind the undefeated Hamworthy Recreation. They are undefeated in their past 3 games only conceding a single goal.

Fawley have been in worse form, losing three out of their last four games, and having their cup tie against Bawley postponed due to a waterlogged pitch, the are currently 11th in the Wessex League Division 1 table, tied with 9th place Romsey but with a difference of 37 in goal difference

Kingsdown FC vs Amesbury Town FC- Wessex League Div One

Amesbury Town are visiting Kingsdown this weekend, Kingsdown's first home game since February. Amesbury current league the Corsham Print Wiltshire Senior League with 61 points 11 points ahead of 2nd place Kintbury Rangers, who have three games in hand.

Kingsdown currently sit in 13th but have played seven less games than Amesbury so far this season, They are undefeated in there last three3 games but haven’t won a home game since January.
