A new report has ranked the top 10 places in the wider Swindon area with the least and most amount of private garden space. 

MG Timber and Online Marketing Surgery have created the Garden Space Report to show the best and worst areas to buy houses with a garden in and around the Wiltshire town. 

The results state that Broad Blunsdon, South Marston and Wanborough are the best areas to buy a house with garden space as they have the highest private outdoor space with 2,062,099 metres squared (m2). The figures are shown below.

Conversely, the Central North area of Swindon has the lowest amount of home private green space with only 112,004m2. 

According to the data, which was taken from the Office for National Statistics, Swindon has a total of 16,762,014m2 home garden space.
