A blaze has broken out at a block of flats in Grange Park tonight.

Four fire engines rushed to the scene near Rycote Close after the fire started at around 11pm on Sunday night.

It comes just days after another fire ripped through four homes in a different part of West Swindon on Thursday.

Tonight, firefighters are tackling the blaze and police are also attending the incident.

Smoke is billowing from the property and the flames were visible to onlooking neighbours.

An aerial ladder platform is being used by the fire crew.

One resident described it as "the scariest thing" she'd ever seen.

Firefighters from Swindon, Westlea, Stratton and Royal Wootton Bassett have attended.

More to follow.

UPDATE: The flames have been extinguished and fire crews are continuing to remove debris as they work on making the scene safe.
