WOMAD tickets still up for grabs

Tickets are still available for WOMAD festival near Malmesbury this weekend.

And they are now on offer at a special discounted price.

Organisers have dropped the price of a two-day weekend ticket by £25 and it is now on sale at £100.

A family weekend ticket, which is based on two adults and two children, has also been reduced and is now down to just £175.

Tickets will be available on site at Charlton Park from the box office or to order from www.womad.org.

The Box office will be open to purchase tickets on Friday from 8am to 10pm and Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 6pm.

Anyone wishing to buy on site should follow signs for the purple gate.

A spokesman for WOMAD said there are plenty of tickets on sale: "This year WOMAD are putting a special offer for those who have been too busy, working too hard, waiting to see what the weather would be like or even just simply forgot to buy tickets at a special weekend rate for Saturday and Sunday.

"WOMAD is the quintessential music festival comprising of the music, arts and dance that reflects the sort of world we'd all like to live in.

"A festival that has become both a byword for quality and a legend in its own 26 year lifetime, and it's now upon us."

At this price,I hope this includes a few free samples of drugs to soften the blow of not seeing Boy George!

You're not allowed to get drugs at WOMAD unless you buy them from the police once you're in!
