Dave Sharp, formerly of 1970s alternative rock band The Alarm, is popping into Swindon tonight.
The guitarist will be playing a free gig in the bar at The Vic in Old Town from 8pm.
Dave has played with a number of top names in his time including Willie Nelson and Johnny Cash who both appeared on his solo recordings.
He will be supported by Swindon’s own musical gem Rob Beckinsale.
This month’s Lazy Sunday Afternoon, hosted by Mr Love & Justice, a folk/pop collective, features Blake who are signed to Swindon’s 208 Records.
Blake, led by Julian Pugsley, are launching their new album, Stay Human, which is dedicated to the Italian peace activist Vittorio Arrigoni.
The gig begins at 3pm in the Swindon Arts Centre Studio in Old Town, and also features sets from Bajonne with Kim Coupland, a professional dancer who has released her first album Thinking Out Loud, on Homegrown Records. Tickets are £5 from the box office 01793 614837.
